Sustainability

At Harrison Holidays we recognise that we have responsibilities to the world around us. Our holiday parks are in some of the most beautiful natural settings and this brings with it environmental and social responsibility. We are setting out to minimise our impact on the environment so that the future is as bright as possible. We want to be able to share the experience of staying with us to as many people as possible, so we are working to be able to offer more accessible accommodation across our holiday parks. We play and active role in our local community. Some of our activities and ways that we support our community are shared through our blog. We are using our 50th anniversary year to further develop our sustainability and accessibility practices.

Clean energy

We use clean energy that comes from renewable, zero emission sources. It is powering seven of our nine holiday parks, with the final two scheduled to transfer. We have partnered with a green energy consultant that like us is a family business to implement these measures.

Waste reduction

We have waste management systems at our head office and are currently trailing a waste management system that we plan to roll out to all of our holiday parks.

Keeping it local

We are a family business that believes in working with local people and suppliers wherever possible. You’ll also see this extended to local produce if you visit places like our Coffee shop at Wild Rose Holiday Park.

Accessibility

We have accessible accommodation available at Riverside Holiday Park and are working towards being able to offer the same across all our holiday parks in the near future.
