Summertime means it’s showtime with Harrison Holidays

It’s showtime with Harrison Holidays this summer! We’ll be on the road, visiting some of the biggest seasonal shows to showcase our wonderful collection of holiday homes. Join us at the Southport Flower Show and Harrogate’s Great Caravan, Motorhome, and Holiday Home Show.

These are brilliant days out for all the family and we look forward to meeting you there!

August: Southport Flower Show

In August, we are embracing the floral spirit that descends on Southport when the annual Southport Flower Show takes place (Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 August 2024). Southport is a fabulous place to enjoy the holiday home lifestyle, and we will give visitors a taste of this at the show, with three of our holiday parks located in the area. Riverside Holiday Park and Brooklyn Holiday Park are both in Southport. Just a short distance away, Abbey Farm Holiday Park enjoys the rural beauty of the countryside surrounding Ormskirk. If Blackpool beckons, the historic manor house setting of Rawcliffe Hall Holiday Park offers a relaxing environment for holiday homeowners. What a choice!

Our holiday parks are open for up to 50 weeks of the year, allowing you to enjoy events like the Southport Flower Show and other highlights throughout the year, from the Southport Air Show to the British Musical Fireworks Championship.

What is happening at Southport Flower Show?

2024 marks the centenary of the Southport Flower Show, making this a particularly special year to visit. There are some fabulous highlights to look forward to. Alongside traditional attractions like the Grand Floral Marquee and show gardens, you’ll be entertained by guest appearances, including Janette and Aljaz of Strictly Come Dancing fame and TV chef Simon Rimmer. There’s also plenty of shopping, food, and drink to enjoy.

What will Harrison Holidays be doing at Southport Flower Show?

We’ll have one of the top-of-the-range Willerby Sierra models as part of our display, highlighting the fabulous home-from-home luxury that comes with all of our static caravans. The Harrison Holidays team will be there to talk you through the different options, including the finance available.

And if you are feeling lucky there are not one, but two Spin the Wheel games to try.

One is all about holidays, with different breaks to be won, including a fabulous hot tub holiday. No one goes away empty-handed, with free upgrades, Prosecco, and a lucky dip also up for grabs! The second game is all about holiday homes, with the top prize of a holiday home for a year! Plus there are big discounts on offer, ranging from £1,000 to £3,000. Who wouldn’t want a Harrison Holidays umbrella or pen! Join us for all the fun!

How do you book tickets to Southport Flower Show?

September: The Great Caravan Motorhome and Holiday Home Show

From Friday 6 to Sunday 8, the UK’s biggest outdoor caravan, motorhome, and holiday home show takes place, so of course, we had to be there! This annual event, staged in the beautiful spa resort of Harrogate, is the place to go if you want to see the widest range of holiday home options.

Taking place in a beautiful part of the country, the show is just a short distance from our White Rose Holiday Park in Thirsk, offering a glimpse of the lifestyle that awaits with holiday home ownership. If this area appeals to you, then Percy Wood Country Park in Northumberland and Wild Rose Holiday Park, situated between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, are also much-loved options to consider.

What takes place at The Great Caravan Motorhome and Holiday Home Show?

Nearly 400 static caravans, motorhomes, lodges, and camper vans will be on display, representing the very best the industry has to offer.

It’s a friendly environment that the organisers turn into a great day out for everyone. New for 2024 is the Little Bird Artisan Market, which will feature over 100 stands selling local produce, handmade goods, and much more.

The show is also dog-friendly, which we think is great as pets lovers ourselves.

What will Harrison Holidays be doing at The Great Caravan Motorhome and Holiday Home Show?

The show is the perfect opportunity to meet the friendly Harrison Holidays team to see what life would be like as a holiday home owner at one of our nine parks. We’re bringing a bit of that flavour to the show with seating areas to relax in, drinks and cupcakes to enjoy over a chat, and a DJ playing music to create the perfect ambiance.

We’re a fun bunch, so those who hit the jackpot on our two Spin the Wheel games could win a hot tub holiday or even a holiday home for a year. There are also an array of prizes ranging from a stay in one of our hives to money off, a lucky dip, and even some Harrison Holidays merch! Did you know that our Percy Wood Country Park incorporates an 18-hole golf course? To get you in the mood, why not have a go at our putting game!
