UK Holidays Unpacked – Your Ticket to Hassle-Free Holiday Fun

Posted on

We’ve all had enough of the grey start to 2024, but Spring is around the corner and with lots of people currently finalising their plans for the Summer, we’ve been looking at some of the reasons why a staycation ticks all the boxes. At Harrison Holidays we really have our fingers on the pulse when it comes to holiday planning, so here are some staycation insights from the experts.

Make things easier on your wallet

With no hefty flight prices to factor in, a staycation means that all your holiday budget goes into the holiday itself.  As a family run business, we are always keenly aware of giving great value for money, so not only do we have special offers available, but we also try to make things easier with ideas such as Kids Eat Free.

The hassle-free holiday option

Holiday time is family time, relaxation time and fun time.  So don’t start and end it with unnecessary frustration.  The wins with a staycation begin with the cost and keep coming.  For example, you can pack those extra outfits to your hearts content with no baggage charges to negotiate. And then there’s real gamechanger… with no airport queues, no passport checks, no unexpected delays to worry about just head for one of our holiday parks where our welcoming team will be ready to meet you on arrival.

Kitted out for comfort

All our holiday properties are exceptionally well appointed, which means that you can enjoy a getaway that includes home comforts and lots of little extras that will make your stay even more special.  Look out for wide screen smart TVs, Bluetooth speakers and integrated appliances as part of the spec. You’ll find different options depending on whether you are looking for a touch of luxury (hot tub anyone?) or simply wanting to set up camp.

Pet friendly stays

A stay with Harrison Holidays means that all of your family can benefit from a holiday, including your pets.  Not only do we have pet friendly accommodation available at no extra charge, but we also have dedicated spaces for exercising dogs, walking trails and of course locations that will get tails wagging.  And think of those kennel fees that you can save by having your furry friend holidaying with you, because with Harrison Holidays Pets Go Free.

A helping hand

The whole philosophy of Harrison Holidays is about creating memories and enjoying time with family and friends.  We see it as our job to make sure you get as much enjoyment out of every moment of your precious holiday time.  So, to give a helping hand we have introduced the Harrison Holidays app.

Neatly packaged into the app are all the hints, tips and advice that you need to make the most of your holiday at whichever of our holiday parks you are staying; from what to pack to make the most of the facilities to ideas of what you can do and see around the holiday park. The app’s got everything covered all at your fingertips, so there’s no need to spend time googling or creating lists.

Coast, countryside and culture

There is a saying that applies as much when you are booking a holiday as when you are house hunting… location, location, location.  Our holiday parks give you the chance to fill your stay with all the flavours that you are looking for right on your doorstep, from beautiful beaches to areas of outstanding natural beauty, from postcard perfect villages to national treasures.  A staycation really does offer it all, whether you are staying for a few days or a few weeks.

The environmentally friendly option

Many of us are becoming increasingly aware of the impact that flying abroad can have on our environment.  So, the good news is that a staycation puts much less strain on the environment and, with our holiday parks located in some of the most stunning countryside and coastal locations around England, it’s also a great way to appreciate the natural world.

Changes on the horizon

From October holidaymakers travelling from Britain into Europe via ferry are being advised of possible delays following the implementation of changes to the EU entry / exit system (EES).  The proposed EU digital border system will require fingerprints and facial scans to be taken.  EES is due to start on 6 October 2024 and industry insiders are warning of the knock-on effect this will have.  It’s another reason why a staycation really is the winning option! This is the perfect time to book a staycation with a number of offers currently available.  Check out all the details here

Country or coast, north or south England, you’ll find lots to love with Harrison Holidays.
