Yorkshire Dales National Park

Explore the breath-taking natural beauty of Yorkshire by visiting the Yorkshire Dales National Park during your stay at White Rose Holiday Park. The park covers an area of 680 square miles, featuring a diverse landscape of hills, valleys, limestone formations, and unique to see villages.

There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy in the Yorkshire Dales, such as hiking, cycling, and fishing. The park offers numerous trails for visitors to explore, including the famous Three Peaks Challenge, which involves climbing the three highest peaks in the park: Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough. The record for climbing the three peaks is just under 12 hours!

The park is also home to a wide variety of wildlife, such as red squirrels, otters, and birds of prey. For bird enthusiasts, the Dales is a great place to spot the elusive black grouse or even the iconic red kite.

Visitors can learn about the history and culture of the area by visiting one of the many charming villages scattered throughout the park. The villages offer a glimpse into the local way of life, with their historic buildings, traditional markets, and historic pubs serving up delicious local food.

The Yorkshire Dales National Park is one of the UK’s most idyllic locations and should be on everyone’s to-do list.
