Park facilities

Infinity Pool

Our brand-new leisure and entertainment complex at Wild Rose Holiday Park features a beautiful indoor/outdoor pool, heated to a very comfortable 29oC. The pool sits in the middle of the complex, with picturesque, landscaped surroundings and natural tiled sun terraces made from Yorkshire stone.

The whole complex was designed with great attention to detail. The complex has a very light, contemporary feel, and is the perfect place to relax after a swim in the pool. You could grab your favourite book and relax on the sunloungers, admiring the beautiful views, or you could relax and have a quick snooze. The new coffee shop also has some fantastic outdoor seating on the balcony, you can see the pool and landscaping that sits below, with picturesque views beyond.

Coast & Country Bar & Restaurant

Our modern, stylish Coast & Country Bar and Restaurant was completely refurbished in 2022. The restaurant features spacious booth seating, beautiful planting, wicker light fittings and parquet flooring, creating a comfortable, light and airy atmosphere for all our guests to enjoy.

The restaurant serves a varied and delicious menu from breakfast through to dinner, from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week. We also have a great drinks menu through the evening to choose from. Not only do we serve a delicious range of food here, but the venue also acts as fantastic central point for entertainment. We have everything from live music to sports coverage to watch here. We also have cosy private dining facilities for those special occasions when you want to celebrate with friends and family.

Soft play area

The new soft play area is a fantastic addition to the park for families with young children. The area is spacious, bright and colourful with slides and ball pools that your under 5s will love. Allowing your kids to release some energy in this fun facility is sure to be a great way for the whole family to relax and have a great time.

The Pennines

Stretching like a majestic spine through Northern England, the Pennines are a range of hills and mountains that have played a vital role in shaping the history and culture of the region. This natural wonder, often referred to as the “backbone of England,” has a history as rich and diverse as its landscape.

The Pennines boast an extensive network of hiking and walking trails, catering to various skill levels. From strolls through the valleys to challenging hikes up rugged peaks, the Pennines have it all. Popular trails include the Pennine Way, offering a long-distance trek through the heart of the Pennines.

The Pennines are also home to several nature reserves, such as RSPB Geltsdale and Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts will love the diverse array of species, from red kites soaring in the skies to elusive red squirrels running through the trees.

With minimal light pollution in many areas, the Pennines also provide an ideal setting for stargazing. On a clear night, lay back and marvel at the beauty of the night sky, spotting constellations and shooting stars from the deck of your own holiday home.

The Lake District

The park is also adjacent to the world-famous Lake District National Park, a place celebrated for its stunning natural beauty, abundance of outdoor adventures, and over 5000 years of history. For centuries, visitors to the park have been captivated by its lakes, mountains and lush green valleys which have inspired artists, poets and adventurers alike. With so many options for exploring the area, you’ll certainly never run out of activities and unique places to visit.
