New Bar & Restaurant Complex Coming To Wild Rose
We are pleased to announce that phase one of a new bar and restaurant complex is due to be opened at our Wild Rose holiday park in Appleby, Cumbria, and will provide food, drink and entertainment for our guests.
Set within the grounds of the stunning Wild Rose Holiday Park, within walking distance of picturesque Appleby and providing a gateway to the Lake District, Pennines, Yorkshire Dales, and the Eden Valley, the new bar and restaurant form the first phase of a new entertainment complex, and will be opening to residents of the park on the first week of June.
Guests at the Cumbrian holiday home caravan park will be able to experience a modern and welcoming design with the use of natural materials that effortlessly blend the entrance to the complex with the spectacular views surrounding the popular holiday park.
The serene reception area will provide views of the soon-to-be-opened swimming pool, and a glazed link, complete with a feature wall with fun neon signs for those essential Instagram moments. This area provides access to phase one of the complex, the new restaurant and bar, sat elevated from the ground floor reception area, which continues the use of natural materials and finishes, in a sleek, contemporary design.
Central to the restaurant is a stage, which will provide entertainment in the form of live music for diners in the main dining area, and there is a private dining area for those who prefer a little more privacy, with herringbone timber flooring throughout. Guests can also find a cosy snug if they want to enjoy quiet drinks by the fireplace.
To the rear of the restaurant is a polished American sports bar themed area, where patrons can watch the latest sports on a large screen. As well as seating around the internally illuminated bar top, there are ample dining height poseur height booths for guests and a classic contemporary servery.
The entire restaurant and bar area is tastefully decorated with artwork and mirrors and will provide fine dining for guests, and will cater to families and couples.
George Harrison, the founder of Harrison Holidays, said of the new complex: “We are enormously proud of this ambitious project as it starts to take shape. We have invested £8 million into making an already sought after location into one of the best holiday destinations in the UK.
“The location is already a popular choice for walkers and cyclists looking to explore the nearby Yorkshire Dales and Lake District and this complex will put the area on the map as an essential staycation experience for young families and couples to enjoy. Why go abroad with a place like this on your doorstep?”
Work is continuing on further phases of the Cumbrian caravan park’s new complex, which will include a large, heated pool, which seamlessly extends from indoors to an outdoor pool area, paired with retro-style sun loungers, festoon lighting, and a walled faux planted garden, and will be ideal for pool parties and events.
The first floor of the complex will include a bright and colourful play area for both children and adults, complete with a coffee counter and ice cream parlour. Children will adore the mural wallpaper and beach hut style seating.
Visible from the coffee counter via a large glazed wall will be the complex’ gym area, featuring large wall graphics and pops of colour that complement the play area, while a secret door in the retro-themed arcade area will lead guests into a cinema to see a range of films and shows.
