We’ll be lighting up the night sky for a sparkling weekend of celebration as our holiday parks pull out all the stops to create a Bonfire Night that’s full of dazzling displays, family fun and timeless traditions.
The infamous Gunpowder plot, which is the inspiration behind Bonfire Night, took place in 1605, but today’s marking of the occasion is all about making happy memories with family and friends and lightening up the skies with colourful displays as the darker nights set in.
So, what’s Harrison Holidays got planned for families this Bonfire Night? What can you see and do?
Wild Rose Holiday Park in Cumbria is planning a fabulous Bonfire Night celebration on Saturday 4 November. A professional team will be delivering a sensational multi-coloured display that will be choreographed to light up the sky with rockets, fountains, roman candles and more. The night will open with a DJ from 5pm playing the perfect track list for the occasion and follow on with the firework fiesta at 7pm. You’ll be able to tuck into a
selection of tasty food and the outdoor bar will be open throughout for refreshments and winter warmers.
During your stay you’ll also be able to check out the new leisure complex – featuring a stunning pool complex, coffee shop, farm shop and more; all contemporarily designed to create a real wow factor and sit harmoniously in the lush surroundings.
Percy Wood Holiday Park in Northumberland has got to be one of the most atmospheric places to celebrate Bonfire Night, with the surrounding woodland the most magical of backdrops for an autumn getaway – especially if you are enjoying this experience from the luxury of a hot tub! On Saturday 4 November the old driving range is where friends and families will meet for a spectacular firework display that will begin with a bang at 6:15pm,
with everyone gathering from 5:50pm to get a good spot.
Our Rawcliffe Hall Holiday Park is located just outside Blackpool, with the grounds of the historic Grade II listed mansion the location for owner holiday lodges. Bonfire Night is a time for family and friends and the fun starts at 5pm on Saturday 4 November with a Kids Disco to keep the little ones entertained until the excitement of the lighting of the bonfire at 6:30pm when band Nine Twenty will really get the party going with a set that will continue until 7:45pm. Then all eyes will be on the sky, which will be illuminated by an incredible fireworks display. Rounding off the evening will be a Robbie Williams tribute from 9pm.
Fun times, special moments and new adventures… these are just some of the experiences that you’ll enjoy throughout the year whether you holiday with Harrison Holidays or become a holiday home owner.
