Make a date with one of our upcoming charity events

As a family run business it’s important to everyone at Harrison Holidays that we play an active role in our local community and one of the ways that we do this is through the charities that we support.

Often these are charities that are close to the hearts of our team members, who are brilliant at organising activities and even taking part in fundraising quests themselves – often straying completely out of their comfort zones!

In addition to all of the big events and seasonal specials that we organise at our holiday parks you’ll find a regular programme of events that have a charity focus.  As well as raising funds, these are also occasions to bring people together and to socialise informally, as you’ll see with what we have coming up over the next couple of weeks.

As we move into autumn it’s the perfect time for a coffee morning and on Saturday 21 September our team at Percy Wood Country Park are organising an event to raise money for the extraordinary work carried out by Macmillan Cancer Support.  Taking place from 11am to 1.30pm there will be tea, coffee and cakes served and a fun raffle to try your luck with.  Percy Wood Country Park is located in Northumberland in beautiful natural surroundings and with the stunning heritage coastline just a short distance away.  It’s a holiday park that combines both holiday home ownership and holiday stays, with great on site facilities including the Coast & Country Bar and Restaurant where the coffee morning will take place and to which all are welcome.

Also taking place on Saturday 21 September is a get together in aid of the British Heart Foundation, which takes place at our Brooklyn Holiday Park. Food and refreshments are being served from 12noon and there is a tombola, bottle stall, junior tombola and raffle to keep everyone entertained!  Brooklyn Holiday Park is located in Southport and, unlike nearby Riverside Holiday Park, it exclusively caters for holiday home owners.  There is a real community feel to the site, which is renowned for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere.  The Harrison Holidays team regularly organises events, such as wine & cheese evenings, quiz nights and crafting sessions, which are really enjoyed by our holiday home owners.

Rawcliffe Hall Holiday Park is the destination for a night of disco and karaoke, plus lots of fun and games on Saturday 28 September. Taking to the dance floor from 8pm, guests will be hosted by John Scott, who will ensure a fabulous evening of entertainment all in aid of Dementia Awareness.  This is also a park solely for holiday home owners, who love the tranquillity of being located in the grounds of Rawcliffe Hall Mansion and then the social activities and facilities that are based in the historic property, including a lounge bar and games room.

You can keep up to date with all of our events by chatting to our holiday park teams on site and if you are a holiday home owner you will receive regular updates directly to your email inbox.
