Jubilee Events At Harrison Holidays
Queen Elizabeth II is the first British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee and to mark the 70th anniversary of HRH’s ascension to the throne on 6 February 1952, celebrations are being held all across the UK and the Commonwealth, from street parties to fairs, and more.
Harrison Holidays have got the bunting out for a wide range of Platinum Jubilee events at their holiday parks across the north of England to be held over the extended Bank Holiday weekend, including live entertainment, competitions, and street parties, so why not join us for a Royal Celebration this June!

Jubilee at Riverside, Southport
Our Riverside Holiday Park has four days of events to mark HRH’s Platinum Jubilee, with something for everyone! Starting on Wednesday 1 June, there will be a Kids Club with a disco, quizzes, and party games from 5pm, and music from DJ Steve in the evening.
DJ Steve will also be playing music on the evening of Thursday 2 June, along with live music from singer Bianca Taylor, while on Friday 3 June, guests are invited to join in the karaoke, quiz, and bingo.
The main event at Riverside will be held on Saturday 4 June, as the holiday park will be hosting a fantastic 50’s-themed Street Party from 1 pm to 5 pm, which will include traditional party games, with music from DJ Steve and Cassandra in the evening.
Jubilee at Wild Rose, Cumbria
There are also four days of events at Harrison Holidays’ Wild Rose Holiday Park near Appleby in Cumbria, with DJ Will kicking off the Bank Holiday weekend on Wednesday 1 June. Fantastic vocalist Bradley Baines will entertain guests on Friday 3 June, and incredible singer Becky Demaine will be performing on Saturday 4 June.
From 1 pm to 5 pm on Sunday 5 June, Wild Rose Holiday Park will be hosting a Great British Family Fun Day, including traditional party games and music, as well as serving Cool Britannia Ice Cream, and prizes to be given out for the Best Dressed Holiday Home, Blessed Dressed Tourer, Best Dressed Dog, and the Best King and Queen!
Jubilee at Percy Wood, Northumberland
Join us on Saturday 4 June at Percy Wood Holiday Park near Morpeth in Northumberland for a Charity Golf Day in honour of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee at our onsite Bari Bar, for just £10 per person. Entrants will be greeted with a complimentary breakfast bun, tea or coffee, and there will be live music in Bari Bar from 4 pm. Proceeds from the event will be going towards the purchase of a defibrillator.
Also on Saturday 4 June is the Percy Wood picnic in the park for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, between 1 pm and 4 pm, which will include live entertainment. Guests are encouraged to dress accordingly and to bring their own tables, chairs, gazebos, and picnics/refreshments to make it a right Royal celebration of HRH’s 70 years on the throne!
Jubilee at White Rose, Thirsk
Guests at Harrison Holidays’ White Rose Holiday Park are invited to celebrate the Jubilee at the park’s Horsebreakers Arms Pub, where there will be live music from Jospeh O’Brian on Thursday 2 June, for £2.50 per person.
On Saturday 4 June, there will be live music in the pub’s beer garden from The Cherrytones during the day, as well as a BBQ for guests.
Jubilee at Abbey Farm, Ormskirk
On Saturday 4 June, Abbey Farm Holiday Park will have a full day of events to mark the Platinum Jubilee, including party games, a sports day, and red-white-and-blue-themed fancy dress!
Jubilee at Brooklyn, Southport
Guests at Harrison Holidays Brooklyn Holiday Park in Southport are invited to join in the Jubilee celebrations with our 50’s-themed Street Party on Saturday 4 June from noon, so dig out the bunting and dress up to make it a Royal Celebration to remember!
