As well as our regular quiz, karaoke, and disco nights, amazing live music and entertainment, we’ve got some fantastic days planned for our guests this summer. Crazy golf competitions, outdoor cinema events, treasure hunts, mini street food festivals and much more.
Let’s have a look at what’s going on in each of our parks this August.
White Rose Holiday Park, Thirsk
Grab your popcorn, and get settled for an outdoor cinema extravaganza at White Rose this summer. We’ll be showing some family favourites, including Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Greatest Showman, and more, so get ready to enjoy a truly magical way to see your favourite films on 19 and 20 August.
There’s some amazing live music this month too, with The Cherrytones at The Horsebreaker’s Arms, as well as tributes to Queen and Status Quo locally. Pack your double denim and get ready to rock all over the world.
Foodies will be salivating at the culinary delights coming their way, with both the Kirkby Fleetham Feast and the Malton Food-Lovers festivals taking place in August. Riverside Holiday Park, Southport
We have discos, karaoke, bingo, kids’ games and more at Riverside Park this August, as part of our programme of events to give you and your family a holiday to remember. There are also some amazing activities planned too, including Bubble Zorb Football – a ridiculously fun game of footy while encased in a giant inflatable bubble!
The kids are going to love the Reptile Life animal roadshow coming to the park this month, as they will be able to get up close and personal with some extraordinary members of the animal kingdom. Jimbo Junior will also be visiting throughout the month to provide excellent entertainment for the kids.
Also part of our adrenaline-fuelled Sunday Summer of Fun on 28 August is Banx Wrestling, where you can pick your champion and cheer them on to a win in the ring!
There’s plenty of live music on offer too, from the amazing Up High to rock’n’roll with The Humbuckers at Riverside, and plenty to choose from at local venues, including a tribute to the legendary Rod Stewart at The Atkinson on 27 August – book here Book tickets at https://www.theatkinson.co.uk/events/rod-stewart-story/

Wild Rose Holiday Park, Cumbria
There’s an amazing programme of events at Wild Rose in August, with live music, discos, pool parties, a treasure hunt, and much more!
Why not gather the family for a round of crazy golf in our big competition to see who’s the best on our 9-hole course, and if you feel the need to get your own back, then join us for a Battle Royale with Nerf Wars – just like Fortnite, but with actual running around with amazingly fun foam bullet firing guns.
There’s live music from the likes of Stevie M, Tony D, Jake Holroyd, and Rich Fullerton, and discos throughout the month, including a party by the pool during the day, followed by more music and dancing until latewith our resident DJ.
Reptile Life will be bringing their animal roadshow to Wild Rose too, so the kids can explore a magical animal kingdom, or maybe you will want to grab your cowboy hat and try your best to stay on our rodeo bull!
Percy Wood, Northumberland
Brilliant kids’ entertainer The Nutty Professor will be at Percy Wood to bring his particular brand of laughs, magic, and mayhem for the whole family, and opportunities to sample some amazing street food, from Chef Matai Baran and mouthwatering Indonesian delicacies from Batik Kitchen.
There’s live music throughout the month with Sam Rea, Mike Gatto, Danielle Keys, and vocal duo Ana Muñoz Saiz Music, and we have a silent disco on 20 August, so pop your headphones on and boogie on down!
On Saturday 13 August, there’s inflatable fun for the kids with inflatable slides and a bouncy castle, as well as a penalty shoot-out contest, and we are bringing a 9-hole crazy golf course to the park on 27 August if you’re looking for a family competition to get a hole in one!
