The Easter Bunny will be hopping around our holiday parks this Easter, bringing fun to everyone.
So take a hop, skip, and a jump with us as we find out what exciting activities our park entertainment teams have in store!
Wild Rose Holiday Park in Cumbria
Friday 4 April to Sunday 27 April
An Easter bonanza is taking place at Wild Rose Holiday Park right across the holidays, so whenever you’re taking your break, you’ll find seasonal fun awaiting. The surrounding countryside will be at its glorious springtime best, making it a lovely time to visit the Lakes or North Yorkshire. A stay at Wild Rose provides a luxurious and entertaining experience.
From Friday 4 April to Friday 18 April, the fun doesn’t stop, with craft afternoons, mini discos, family bingo, and live music. You can even join a Make-a-Bear workshop or take part in a friendship bracelet-making session. And you’ll be spoilt for choice with family bingo, game shows, Easter crafternoons, karaoke, and more to look forward to.
The Easter weekend will be full of Easter traditions. Everything from making bonnets to marching them in a parade will take place on Saturday 19 April. An Easter bake-off will add a taste of the season, with great prizes to be won for those who don their aprons and take part, while a game show and live music take you into the evening.
Sunday 20 April is the Easter Bunny’s grand day, with a special ‘Big’ Easter Egg Hunt taking place from 12 noon to 1:30pm, followed by a meet and greet with the cotton-tailed bunny himself. An Easter party for younger guests kicks off the evening entertainment, and a bank holiday party for the adults brings it to a swinging conclusion.
The party atmosphere continues after Easter with mini discos, game show nights, and quiz nights all being organised. Bringing the celebrations to a close is an ABBA Weekend (Friday 25 April and Saturday 26 April), where, in addition to music to dance along to, there will be themed activities — from karaoke to 70s-inspired crafternoon sessions!
You can take part in the activities as much or as little as you like, and there are lots of opportunities to relax, soak up your surroundings, and enjoy all of the leisure facilities at Wild Rose Holiday Park.
Abbey Farm Holiday Park in Ormskirk
Saturday 19 April, 1pm to 5pm
Spring has sprung in the beautiful countryside surrounding Ormskirk, which is where you’ll find Abbey Farm Holiday Park; so named because the original farmhouse still stands amongst the holiday accommodation. It’s a great place to stay if you are gathering as a larger group, and a brilliant base from which to explore the surrounding villages and foodie destinations that this area of Lancashire is renowned for.
A family-friendly day of egg-citing events is planned for Saturday 19 April, with a traditional Easter Hunt (in which all children will receive an Easter egg), a bouncy castle, and pool and darts competitions. Refreshments will be served, promising a relaxing afternoon for all.
Cakes & Ale Holiday Park in Suffolk
Sunday 20 April, from 11am
With lots of beautifully manicured grounds to explore, Cakes & Ale Holiday Park is the perfect setting for an Easter Egg Hunt. As well as eggs to find (and eat!), there will be family-friendly Easter crafts and a colouring competition on Sunday 20 April — with exciting prizes to be won!
The later Easter also means longer and warmer days for exploring nearby sights and enjoying trips to the coast — and Cakes & Ale is brilliantly located to make the most of it.
White Rose Holiday Park in Thirsk
Sunday 20 April
White Rose Holiday Park in Thirsk is getting into the seasonal spirit with a day of Easter fun for the whole family. Young guests can take part in a classic Easter Egg Hunt around the park — and every child who joins in will receive an egg-citing prize to take home! There’s also a Bonnet Making Competition, where children are invited to get creative at home and bring in their handmade hats to be judged on the day. It’s set to be a joyful celebration of springtime with plenty of treats, laughter, and cheer.
Rawcliffe Hall Holiday Park near Blackpool
Saturday 19 April, from 2pm
Rawcliffe Hall’s grounds look beautiful in spring, with the lush greens set against the historic hall and the nearby River Wyre. This idyllic backdrop is perfect for those who have chosen a holiday home at Rawcliffe Hall Holiday Park and will set the scene for an Easter Egg Hunt, followed by Easter bonnet making, painting crafts, and a family disco — all taking place on Saturday 19 April. Later in the evening, DJ Steve will take over the reins for the adults, with a live music set from Sarah Knight.
